On August 8, 2025, we held a blessing ceremony to celebrate the opening of our new location. This special day is filled with meaning for all of us.
We invited Buddhist monks to chant prayers and offer blessings, asking for happiness, protection, and the good fortune of welcoming only kind and wonderful customers into this space.
We also extended our prayers to everyone who visits us, wishing you joy, prosperity, and positivity in life.
This tradition is part of Thai Buddhist culture, observed when moving into a new home or opening a new business, as a way to bring good luck and auspicious beginnings for both our work and our beloved customers..
We are honored that Thai Wellness Center was selected to serve as a volunteer medical massage provider for the monks participating in the Walk for Peace.
The Walk for Peace is a sacred pilgrimage dedicated to promoting peace, mindfulness, and compassion. The monks set out from Texas in October 2025 and walked continuously over a long distance, making their way to Washington, D.C., completing their journey in February 2026.
As a medical massage provider in Vienna, Virginia, our team offered care to help relieve physical fatigue, ease muscle tension, and support circulation after many miles of walking. We are deeply grateful for this meaningful opportunity to give back and support a mission that fosters healing, unity, and peace.
